OPA is going LIVE, YouTube Live

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

04//30/2014

Where do you go to find music, sports and home videos? YouTube is where 84% of the world goes for these. YouTube has released YouTube Live and now you can view concerts, sporting events and various web streaming activities as they happen, LIVE. For the 2014 race season, the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) will stream all of its races via YouTube Live on the "OPA Racing" channel of YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/user/OPARaccingllc). As much as everyone wants to be at the races catching the action packed races in person, now you will be a part of the action from the comfort of your very own home.

"Everyday technology advances and we feel that in order to keep our huge fan base as close to the action as we can, what better way than to stream our races live over the World Wide Web. With the popularity of YouTube, there wasn't really any other option to go with to be able to reach our existing fans as well as create new fans from around the world," stated Dee Ungarten, Communications Director of OPA.

Coverage begins May 4 from OPA's first Natioanl Race of the season at the Lake Hopatcong Grand Prix in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Stay tuned to www.oparacing.org for specific times of the broadcast as well as when the re-airs will be available.
